Students and staff from Sorters Mill Elementary were recognized for their outstanding service at the NCISD Board of Trustees meeting on November 17, 2025. 

Sorters Mill Elementary Principal, Kindy Tomhave, and the Board of Trustees recognized Claudia Tamez (Outstanding Teacher), Jessica Shoquist (Outstanding Paraprofessional), Gudelia Rojas (Outstanding Custodian), Stephanie Nielsen (Outstanding Child Nutrition Employee), and Denorie Hampton (Outstanding Student).
